Saudi Wescosa's Products Enter Final FAT Phase, Expected to Be Shipped to Jeddah Before Chinese New Year
Recently, Wahaha Electric Supply Company of Saudi Arabia Ltd. (Wescosa), a benchmark enterprise in Saudi Arabia's energy and power supply sector, announced that its latest batch of core power equipment products has officially entered the final phase of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), marking a crucial step towards the delivery and commissioning of the products.
It is understood that FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) is a core quality verification link before equipment delivery. It aims to comprehensively inspect and test products in the supplier's factory to confirm that they meet contractual standards and international technical specifications, identify potential issues in advance, and avoid delays in the on-site installation phase. During the final FAT phase of Wescosa's products this time, key indicators such as electrical performance, structural stability, and environmental adaptability of the equipment will be fully verified. Relevant testing work has entered the final stage, and the overall progress is in line with expectations.
Regarding the subsequent transportation link, a relevant person in charge of Wescosa stated that the final transportation plan for the batch of products has been confirmed. It is expected that the products will be shipped via container shipping before Chinese New Year and finally arrive at Jeddah Port, an important hub port in western Saudi Arabia. To ensure transportation safety, the products will adopt customized packaging and fixation measures that meet international standards, provide separate protection for precision components, and strictly prepare a complete set of documents in accordance with Saudi customs and international trade compliance requirements, including bill of lading, packing list, certificate of origin, and SABER certification. As a core hub of the Red Sea shipping route, Jeddah Port handles 65% of Saudi Arabia's total imported goods. Its complete land-bridge intermodal transportation network will provide efficient support for the subsequent transshipment of products to project sites across the country.
